A celebration of a timeless friendship that bridges the distance of continents and decades. Weaving ancient wisdom with the language of the longing heart into a magic carpet of mantras and psalms. Praying, chanting and celebrating the diverse ways in which music is a connective force, and songs are healing capsules.

Jai and Amir met in 1998 in Israel, and the pulse of their connection kept their friendship alive all these years. Although life’s circumstances didn’t facilitate their life in the same neighborhood, at least it did enable them to live on the same planet, and weave their families into their growing friendship over the years.

Both Jai and Amir shared magical moments of music and family in Israel, The U.S., Guatemala and Australia, and now will share with you an evening of musical offerings.

Tickets are $18 general admission; $12 for Students with ID/low-income individuals. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash only at the door (ATMs are nearby).

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no additional corkage fee.
